DUTY HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (hours may vary slightly due to mission needs) 2nd and 3rd shifts also available.

LOCATION:  Peterson Space Force Base/Cheyenne Space Force Station, Colorado Springs, CO

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance.
  • At least 6 months experience is a similar position is desired
  • Knowledge of the Ability One federal law.

  • Professional Certification of or equivalent certification preferred in : N/A

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be authorized for coverage under agency insurance if operating agency vehicle, have good driving record, valid driver’s license, and/or required level of personal auto insurance.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, per company requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with tact and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adequate ability in communicating in spoken conversation – adequate volume speech.
  • Adequate ability in writing/reading/mathematics.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management and peers.
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to operate a computer.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:

  • Must be able to make independent decisions in order to respond to the performance work statement/statement of work and understand when to seek support from next level management.
  • Ensure personal protective equipment is worn as required.
  • Notification to supervisor any and all customer complaints and the resolution thereof. 
  • Comply with all Phoenix personnel policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Clean and supply all areas outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Remove trash and ashtrays and replace liners.
  • Clean and polish all stainless steel areas to include drinking fountains throughout the location.
  • Clean and maintain all floors (mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, etc.)
  • Provide dusting, glass cleaning, and sanitizing of all surfaces outlined in the PWS.
  • Clean all appliances
  • Periodically inspect assigned equipment, and report broken, unsafe, or faulty equipment to the project management.
  • Ensure cleaning discrepancies are cleared in a timely manner.

RATE OF PAY:  $19.22/hour, plus ($5.25 -Union health and welfare plan) plus ($1.70 - Union Pension Fund)
